    Putting a big block in a 78? Yea or Nay

    Im thinking of putting a big block 400 in my 78 ghia and I am wondering if this is possible?

    Also what transmission would you put in with it?

    Mustang IIs in general are a pain to swap to a bigger engine. The engine compartment was only made for 4 cyls and the 2.8l v6. You could maybe put in a small block with a c4 without having to do a bunch of cutting out metal. Plus Ford has no 400, to my knowledge.
