    Changing motor in my 87 Mustang – which should I use? 302 or 351

    I have access to a 351w from a truck project and I was thinking of replacing the motor in my 87 mustang with that, since I am replacing the motor anything. Is this a good idea? Or should I stick with 302?

    The 351w is heavier by 75 pounds. It does use the same mounts and bellhousing. 302 heads and cams can be bolted on.
