I recently added Magnaflow’s axle backs, competition. My wife is complaining about the noise level and maybe i am getting too old for such a loud car hahaha. Do you fellows know of a way to lessen the sound. Inserts from somebody? It sounds like a beast and I love it but the old wife is giving the red light on it.
I got the same thing for my mustang and yes, especially during long trips the sound is pretty headbanging.
I suggest you go back to stock. I assume you kept the old setup?
I know it was probably expensive but you gotta do what you gotta do to keep a happy wife.
Roush axle backs sound great and they are not too loud at all!
