1990 Mustang Power steering making Crazy Noises

My power steering pump is making those nasty power steering noises, like squealing noises. I have all new fluid in the pump but it still makes the noise. The steering works fine, though. any ideas on what is going on? If I need to buy a new unit I guess I can go that route but would rather something cheaper.

I had the same problem with my old mustang too. The steering was fine but the whining still happened, until i went ahead and replaced it with a remanufactured unit.



Check this video on how to do it. Its maybe $50-$70 for the unit.
